Rental conditions

BIKE RENTAL: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The client is renting bicycles from BARCELONA HOLIDAY BICI and is subject to all the terms and conditions of this contract:

BIKES AND ACCESSORIES

The customer is responsible for taking care of and returning the bicycle and its accessories (locks, keys, basket, helmet, child seat…).

Bicycles and accessories must be returned in the same conditions as those in which they were rented. The customer must respond to the damages caused to the bicycle and/or accessories once they have been received by the customers.
The customer is obliged to lock and tie the bike (pass the lock through the frame, seat, rims and tie it to a post fixed to the ground or to a parking bike rack). It is recommended to keep your bike with you and within sight whenever possible.
In the case of theft or loss of the material, the client must pay for Barcelona Bike Rental, according to the market price. If the bicycle is not returned, the amount to be paid may vary depending on the model: €220 for the black city bike, €270 for the mountain bike and €350 for the orange city bike.

Payment and Deposit

Form of payment: By credit card or in cash upon receipt of the bicycle and for the amount of time specified in the rental contract.

It will be necessary to make a deposit of €80 (in cash or by credit card) or leave the original of the identity document (ID, driver’s license, passport) for the duration of the rental.
The deposit is made in anticipation of possible damages, or as a precautionary measure in case the bicycle and the accessories that have been rented are not returned. The deposit will be returned to the client once the bicycle has been returned in the same conditions as when it was rented.
Payment and deposit will be made in full and in advance at the time of rental.

The bicycle must be returned on the date and time specified in the contract. The delay in the return of the bicycle will entail the payment of the corresponding fee. The money will not be refunded if the bicycle is returned before the agreed time.

Additional services

The helmets will be provided paying 2 euros/helmet in the store. Child seat available. Ask in store. Our clients will have the possibility to leave their belongings in our luggage room, free of charge during the rental period.

CIVIL LIABILITY AND LIMITATIONS

Barcelona Alquiler Bici will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or damage caused to itself and / or to others or their property, or for the loss of objects during the rental.
It will be the customer’s responsibility to take the appropriate security measures to prevent the loss or theft of the bicycle. In case of theft, loss, etc., the client will have to pay for the lost or stolen object.
Customers agree to park the bicycle in those places enabled for it, not blocking the passage or causing potential risk or insecurity situations.
The person who signs the rental contract must be over 18 years of age and will be responsible for the contracted equipment.
It is the client’s responsibility to obey traffic regulations and Spanish laws
This contract is governed by Spanish law.

The client declares to have read and accepted the above conditions.
